Modern design in a wild landscape

Designed by local award-winning architects we were keen for An Airigh to sit well with the landscape and rural setting. The inspiration was shepherd huts that were used by crofters across the Highlands when the livestock was taken up to the hills for the summer. But we’ve packed An Airigh full of modern essentials and luxuries.

Relax on the comfy sofa with a wood burning stove and take in the sea views.

An Airigh’s floor to ceiling windows makes the most of the views across the meadow field of wildflowers in front towards Loch Dunvegan and beyond. Where you can look out for passing eagles or simply watch the ever-changing weather and passing rainbows.

Luxury king size bed with sea views and access to terrace

Cosy up in a luxury goose down duvet and finest Egyptian cotton linen in a spacious king size bed. The bedroom’s full-length windows are draped in locally made SkyeWeavers tweed curtains. An Airigh’s peaceful setting will help you get a good night’s sleep and in the morning walk out to the terrace to take in the view.

Locally made and designer furnishings

An Airigh features specially selected local products including sumptuous soft furnishings from SkyeWeavers, Hebridean rugs from SkyeSkyns and a selection of pottery from Skye. The furniture is carefully chosen to complement the modern design of An Airigh and maximise comfort.

Direct access from the living areas to the terrace and with a selection of seating for your comfort creates a perfect oasis. At night step out with a drink and a warm blanket to marvel at the stars or if lucky the winter Aurora’s.
